May 7, 2010 (KHARTOUM) – Unidentified gunmen killed two Egyptian peacekeepers during an ambush against a UNAMID convoy in South Darfur today, the hybrid mission said. The peacekeepers convoy with three vehicles and 20 military personnel was ambushed near Katila village, 85km south of Edd al Fursan, South Darfur, at 11:30am.
