Dearest All, It is a day to Christmas and the New Year is just around the corner! This Christmas, we at Haaba Communications Limited dedicate this beautiful season to our families, friends, members and visitors - wishing you all the best of God's blessings, a very merry Christmas and a happy and successful year 2009.

As a lover of art works, I make it a point of duty to give out carvings, paintings, et al to my circle of friends during Christmas. 2 years ago, I presented one of my friends with a gift during the Christmas period. Imagine my surprise, one year after, when he re-wraped the same gift item and sent to me in return!

This day, I want to talk about some observations I have made lately. I want to talk about the fact that Africans and Americans have different views to life. Life isn't same in the two continents. A recent happening has confirmed this. It has to do with the Obamas of this world.

I remember last Tuesday when Americans went to the polls. As a staunch supporter of Barack in Nigeria, I am unable to vote. Although I am not American, I however felt disenfranchised. I had done my bit, telling my friends in the US to vote for Barack.
