ZAGREB, June 4, 2008 (AFP) - Argentine striker Guillermo Suarez has signed for Croatian champions Dynamo Zagreb, club official Zoran Mamic said here on Wednesday.

He arrives from Argentine first division side Tigre.

Mamic did not give details of the transfer but said that Dynamo Zagreb were also trying to sign Chilean midfielder Pedro Morales from Universidad de Chile.

'We are close to signing a contract with another Argentine player, a defender, but I don't want to reveal his name,' Mamic added.

Local media speculated the new arrival could be Boca Juniors defender Luciano Monzon.
