BERLIN, July 1, 2008 (AFP) - An 11-year old boy has been found hanged in eastern Germany, with all the signs suggesting he committed suicide, police said on Tuesday.

The boy, who has not been named, was found hanged in his parents' flat in the town of Jena between Leipzig and Erfurt, a police spokesman said.

He said there were no indications that anyone else was involved in his death but that police were investigating further. He was a normal boy from a normal family, they added.
