FARNBOROUGH, July 15, 2008 (AFP) - European aerospace group EADS and Mubadala Aerospace, part of an investment vehicle owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, signed a deal here Tuesday to make Airbus plane parts in the United Arab Emirates.
Operations would begin in Abu Dhabi in 2010, the two groups said in a statement issued on the second day of the Farnborough International Airshow, outside London.
The tie-up was expected to generate revenues of more than 1.0 billion dollars (625 million euros) for Mubadala Aerospace over ten years.
EADS own European playmaker Airbus.
