WASHINGTON, July 15, 2008 (AFP) - US President George W. Bush on Tuesday rejected suggestions he tap into the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserve to help ease high gasoline prices.
'It's for emergencies,' Bush told a press conference when asked about using the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
He said the 'fundamental issue' was finding alternative sources of energy and oil and gas in the United States.
