MADRID, July 24, 2008 (AFP) - Spanish police have arrested a 10th person suspected of belonging to a cell of the Basque separatist group ETA that was dismantled this week, an anti-terrorist source said Thursday.
'A new arrest has taken place in Getxo,' in the Basque Country, the source said. 'It is linked to the dismantling of the Vizcaya cell.'
The source gave no further details. But Spanish National Radio identified the person as Inge Urrutia, a young woman.
Police have already arrested nine people as part of an operation launched late Monday against the Vizcaya cell, which Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba said was ETA's 'most active' unit.
Police have also uncovered two weapons caches linked to the cell.
ETA is blamed for the deaths of 823 people in its 40-year campaign of bombings and shootings to carve a Basque homeland out of northern Spain and southwestern France.
