LOS ANGELES, August 4, 2008 (AFP) - Manny Ramirez hit a home run for the second consecutive day and drove in three runs as Los Angeles rolled over Arizona 9-3 on Sunday at Dodger Stadium.
Ramizez, playing just his third game with Los Angeles since last week's blockbuster trade, posted his first four-hit game of the season.
Matt Kemp homered, drove in two runs and scored three times and Canada's Russell Martin had an RBI single for Los Angeles (56-55), which pounded out 16 hits and moved to within one game of Arizona (57-53) in the National League West.
Ramirez now has eight hits in 13 at-bats during three games since joining the Dodgers via the three-team deal with Boston at the Major League Baseball trade deadline.
