ROME, August 5, 2008 (AFP) - Siena's Austrian international goalkeeper Alexander Manninger has penned a four-year deal with Italian first division rivals Juventus, according to the buying club's website on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old will join his Juventus team-mates as they prepare for Tuesday's pre-season friendly against English Premier League champions Manchester United, the website said.
Manninger will be the side's third-choice stopper, behind number one Gianluigi Buffon and Antonio Chimenti.
Manninger spent four seasons at Arsenal before moving to Fiorentina on loan in season 2001-02, winning his first international cap against Sweden in 1999.
He also played for Serie A teams Torino and Bologna, moving to Siena in 2006.
