US NAVAL BASE AT GUANTANAMO BAY, August 6, 2008 (AFP) - A US military jury reached a verdict Wednesday in the controversial 'war on terror' war crimes trial of Osama bin Laden's former driver Salim Hamdan, an official said.

Authorities said they would make an announcement momentarily about their decision in the case, the first US military war crimes tribunal since World War II.
