PARIS, August 6, 2008 (AFP) - Taekwondo star Mickael Borot will replace injured double Olympic bronze medal winner Pascal Gentil in the French Beijing team.

Gentil, 35, who picked up a knock in training last month, was told by doctors at the start of the week that the injury had not healed properly.

Borot, 33, is the 2006 European champion.
