LONDON, August 8, 2008 (AFP) - Tottenham have agreed to sign Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez on loan, according to a report on Friday.

Cesar, 36, will move to White Hart Lane on a season-long loan after Spurs agreed to pay a large portion of his salary.

Cesar is believed to be in north London for a medical before officially signing his contract.

Spurs manager Juande Ramos wants Sanchez to back up new first-choice 'keeper Heurelho Gomes, who signed from PSV Eindhoven earlier in pre-season.
