MOSCOW, August 11, 2008 (AFP) - Rebels in the breakaway Georgian province of Abkhazia have 'cornered' Georgian troops in a sliver of Abkhaz territory controlled by Tbilisi, their defence ministry said Monday, quoted by Interfax.
'Georgian military detachments are completely cornered in the upper part of the Kodori Gorge in Abkhazia,' said the rebels' defence minister, Mirab Kishmaria.
