MOSCOW, August 11, 2008 (AFP) - French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner is to visit the southern Russian city of Vladikavkaz, near the border with South Ossetia, on Monday, an adviser to Kouchner told AFP.

Kouchner 'will take stock of the situation on the ground and the fate of displaced people,' said the adviser, on condition of anonymity.
