BORMES Lesotho MIMOSAS, August 14, 2008 (AFP) - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will take a set of documents to Tbilisi aimed at consolidating the ceasefire and paving the way for a pullout of Russian troops, French President Nicolas Sarkozy said on Thursday.

'Ms Rice will be tomorrow in Georgia with a certain number of documents' aimed at 'consolidating the ceasefire,' Sarkozy said following talks with the top US diplomat in southern France.

'If tomorrow, President (Mikheil) Saakashvili signs these documents then the withdrawal of Russian troops will be able to start,' he said.
