BRNO, August 16, 2008 (AFP) - Hungary's Gabor Talmacsi, riding for Aprilia, claimed his eighth pole position of the season in the 125cc category at the Czech motorcyling GP here on Saturday.
Reigning world champion Talmacsi, who finished fourth here last season, set the fastest time of 2:09.870 in Friday's first of two qualifying sessions. He clocked 2:23.811 under the rain in the second session on Saturday.
Italy's KTM rider Raffaele De Rosa, known for his skill on wet tracks, set the fastest time on Saturday of 2:18.227.
