HARARE, September 15, 2008 (AFP) - Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe said Monday he was 'committed' to working with his rival Morgan Tsvangirai in a new power-sharing government formed in a bid to end a ruinous political crisis.
'Let us be allies,' Mugabe said shortly after signing the power-sharing accord.
'People will want to see if what we promise is indeed what we strive to do ... We are committed, I am committed, let us all be committed.'
