LONDON, Sept 16, 2008 (AFP) - Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has signed for English Premier League club Wigan, linking up again with former Birmingham boss Steve Bruce.

The Wigan manager signed Kingson for Birmingham before the start of last season but he made just one appearance and was released by new boss Alex McLeish at the end of the campaign, which resulted in Birmingham being relegated.

Kingson had been without a club since, leaving him free to sign for new employers outside of the transfer window.
