LONDON, Oct 4, 2008 (AFP) - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Saturday he will propose a 12-billion-pound (21.2 billion dollars, 15.3 billion euros) fund to help small businesses deal with the international financial crisis when he meets other European leaders in Paris.
Brown told reporters he would propose the fund 'so that small businesses in our country and the rest of Europe can get money immediately so that they can continue to employ staff and continue to provide services'.
