TBILISI, Oct 8, 2008 (AFP) - Russian forces have completely withdrawn from buffer zones around Georgia's rebel regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the Georgian interior ministry said Wednesday.

'They have withdrawn from all of the buffer zones,' Interior Ministry Spokesman Shota Utiashvili told AFP.
