Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin released her medical records on Monday via her family doctor who gave the Alaskan governor a clean bill of health.
Hours before polls open for voting on Tuesday, Cathy Baldwin-Johnson, Palin`s doctor since 1997, said the mother-of-five was in good health, was not taking medication, was physically fit and had only been hospitalized for childbirth.
`Governor Palin is in excellent health and has no known health problems that would interfere with her ability to carry out the duties and obligations of vice president of the United States of America,` Baldwin-Johnson concluded.
Palin was the last of the leading candidates to release her records and had been under pressure to do so.
Republican presidential nominee John McCain has released his, as has the Democratic ticket of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
