Two simultaneous bomb blasts from devices planted by suspected separatist insurgents injured at least 60 people on Tuesday in the restive far south of Thailand, police said.
`There were two bomb attacks, one at a local government office and the other at a teashop,` said a police officer in the district of Narathiwat province, which was hit by the twin explosions.
`More than sixty people were injured but no deaths have been reported yet.`
The blast at the local government office in Sukhirin district was caused by a car bomb, the police officer said.
