Argentina on Thursday filed a complaint with Britain for approving a new constitution updating its powers over the disputed Falkland Islands, the foreign ministry said.

`It constitutes a flagrant violation of the mandate accorded us by the United Nations,` Foreign Minister Jorge Taina said at a press conference.
