A landslide that swept over part of an upscale development in the Colombian city of Medellin was feared to have killed at least 12 people, authorities said Sunday.
`Preliminary reports on possible victims are being done, but there is little hope` for the 12-15 people believed to have been living in the affected area of one of the city`s most exclusive developments, Medellin Mayor Antonio Salazar said.
The crush of earth and rocks swept over a high-lying area of the El Poblado neighborhood around 1045 GMT, Salazar said.
