Welcome to Haaba! We know you will enjoy your experience at our online news community dedicated to the most up to date information, news, events, travel and sociology about the wonderful continent of Africa! In order to provide our members with the best possible experience at Haaba, we ask that you agree to the following necessary Terms and Conditions:

1. You must be at least eighteen years old to be a member of Haaba and must provide accurate and current information as requested on the registration form. If you provide information that is not true, your membership to Haaba may be cancelled. Haaba is very strict about guarding your privacy. 2. You must agree to comply with all applicable laws in the jurisdiction which you access the content and services of Haaba. This includes any regulations regarding the sale of products, posting of certain information, website links and materials or receiving or providing certain services to Haaba.

3. No profanity or obscene materials or comments must be placed on the forums. Obscenity is defined by adult oriented content, nudity, pornography or vulgarity. In addition, Haaba will revoke membership of anyone posting comments designed to promote hate, incite anger, harass, threaten or intimidate other individuals visiting Haaba. Links posted to websites that promote violence, hate or obscenity will be removed and your Haaba membership revoked. Haaba is a news organisation and community designed to promote education about Africa. Forum comments should be relevant to the Haaba community. Haaba reserves the right to delete any content posted on the forums, or any links to inappropriate or non-relevant websites as well as to revoke any membership of those deemed to be abusing the forum and website link privileges.

4. Articles, photographs, videos and other content found on Haaba remains the property of the Haaba community. While members are free to post links to promote their websites and articles relating to Africa, members are not permitted to copy or distribute information found on Haaba without express written permission from Haaba. Any copyright violations of Haaba property will be subjected to the appropriate legal action.

5. You may not permit others to use the content and services found on Haaba, or modify or alter the content found on Haaba in any manner. In addition, no copy of the Haaba trademark should be used by anyone who is not a member of the Haaba staff. Any violation of intellectual property laws or copyright regarding the materials found on Haaba will be subjected to appropriate legal action.

6. Haaba members must agree not to use the forums or other unapproved sections of the Haaba website to sell services to other members. You may not transmit any chain letters or “spam” to any other Haaba members. Those who abuse their membership to Haaba by preying on other members and visitors with solicitations for money or services will have their membership to Haaba revoked.
