Ethiopian running great Kenenisa Bekele said on Sunday he was unsure as to which distance he would target for the 2012 Olympics in London.

The 26-year-old 5,000 metres and 10,000m Olympic champion said he was deliberating over whether to run the 10,000m or the marathon.

LONDON, July 27, 2007 (AFP) - With exactly five years to go until the start of the London 2012 Olympics, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown insisted Friday that preparations were well on track to be completed in time.

Brown said the team organising the Games were 'exactly where they planned to be at this point.' His comments came despite a string of controversies which have dogged the London project in recent months.

LONDON, July 24, 2007 (AFP) - British experts will mull whether to make doping a criminal offence as they seek to fight the problem ahead of the 2012 Olympics in London, the British Olympic Association (BOA) said on Tuesday.

The BOA set up a panel on Tuesday with a 'broad mandate' to make recommendations to improve and strengthen British anti-doping controls before the 2012 Olympic Games in London, it said in a statement.
