BERLIN, July 1, 2008 (AFP) - An 11-year old boy has been found hanged in eastern Germany, with all the signs suggesting he committed suicide, police said on Tuesday.

The boy, who has not been named, was found hanged in his parents' flat in the town of Jena between Leipzig and Erfurt, a police spokesman said.

Kenyan Red Cross seeks to reunite families after poll violence

NAIROBI, June 9, 2008 (AFP) - The Kenyan Red Cross Society on Monday sought help to locate parents for hundreds of children separated from their families in post-election violence.

The organisation has reunited 454 children with their families following widespread violence after disputed presidential polls in December that killed at least 1,500 people and displaced around 300,000.
