WARSAW, August 6, 2008 (AFP) - The man charged with overseeing the building of Poland's football stadia in time for the Euro 2012 championships has resigned, according to the country's sports minister Miroslaw Drzewiecki on Wednesday.

Domenech narrowly survived the sack despite France's poor showing at Euro 2008 and a very public gaffe made on TV after the team's defeat against Italy.
