HONG KONG, July 26, 2007 (AFP) - Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez on Thursday said it was up to Michael Brown whether to move to Wigan after an offer was accepted for the midfielder.
Wigan are thought to have offered around two million pounds (4.1 million dollars) for the 30-year-old, who is now discussing personal terms with the Latics.
'We said we were willing to accept the offer if he`s willing to go,' Sanchez said. 'It`s very much in his hands.'
LONDON, July 24, 2007 (AFP) - Fulham accepted an offer from Wigan for midfielder Michael Brown on Monday, according to manager Lawrie Sanchez.
Wigan are thought to have offered around two million pounds for the 30-year-old, who will now discuss personal terms with the Latics.
Sanchez`s swoop for Aston Villa`s Steven Davis has made Brown surplus to requirements at Craven Cottage and he confirmed his Wigan counterpart Chris Hutchings had made an acceptable bid.
