CAIRO, July 22, 2007 (AFP) - Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa staged a heroic comeback this weekend to get their African Confederation Cup group campaign off to a winning start.

The Pretoria-based club wiped out a two-goal half-time deficit against Tout Puissant Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo to triumph 3-2 with the winner coming four minutes into stoppage time.

RABAT, July 22, 2007 (AFP) - Play was delayed for 10 minutes after FAR Rabat of Morocco snatched a stoppage-time winner against Al-Ittihad of Libya in the African Champons League this weekend.

Striker Jaouad Ouaddouch headed the lone goal of a drab Group A match after 93 minutes and sparked a mini-riot with police intervening to protect the Nigerian match officials.

While Ouaddouch appeared offside as he deflected a drive wide of goalkeeper Samir Aboud into the corner of the net, television replays confirmed the goal was legitimate.
