NURBURGRING, Germany, July 22, 2007 (AFP) - Lewis Hamilton`s record run of podium finishes came to a halt in Sunday`s European Grand Prix but the 22-year-old rookie was philosophical after a very difficult weekend.

Hamilton still leads the drivers championship by just two points after he finished ninth and his closest rival, McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso, won in dramatic circumstances at the Nurburgring.
