THE HAGUE, August 1, 2008 (AFP) - Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic said that US negotiator Richard Holbrooke wanted him dead, according to court documents seen Friday.
Claiming Holbrooke had promised him freedom from prosecution by the UN war crimes court if he disappeared from the public eye, Karadzic said Holbrooke later reneged on their deal.
