EADS, Abu Dhabi sign deal to make Airbus plane parts in United Arab Emirate

FARNBOROUGH, July 15, 2008 (AFP) - European aerospace group EADS and Mubadala Aerospace, part of an investment vehicle owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, signed a deal here Tuesday to make Airbus plane parts in the United Arab Emirates.

Abu Dhabi buys 20 pct stake in Shell's Algerian exploration

ABU DHABI , April 1, 2008 (AFP) - An investment company owned by the oil-rich Abu Dhabi government, Mubadala, on Tuesday said it has purchased a 20-percent stake in Shell's exploration and production operations in Algeria.

Mubadala did not disclose the cost of the stake it bought through its subsidiary firm, Liwa Energy Ltd.

Abu Dhabi buys 8.1 percent stake in chip maker AMD

Abu Dhabi negotiating with EADS to make aircraft parts
