LAHORE, July 15, 2008 (AFP) - The Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday suspended fast bowler Mohammad Asif from all competition until an inquiry is completed by India, where he tested positive for a banned substance.

A Beijing subway line was suspended on Wednesday for an emergency, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reported, although an official said it was only due to an equipment problem.

Xinhua said the number two line suspended operations twice on Wednesday afternoon for an 'unspecified emergency reason.'
